The title, Blue Boy Ceramic Pincushion, was inspired by the image Gary created on the mug. The mug was hand made from red clay and a personalized glaze by Gary. I created the cushion from up-cycled hand dyed kona cotton fabric. 
 
Ceramic drawer pull was found at a local shop. Pincushion is filled with crushed English walnut shells, allowing each pin to be sharpened when using.
 
I have one of these in my sewing room and love carrying it around.
 
Measures 4 inches in diameter (minus the handle) and 6 inches tall.
